Abstract
Program is for the play with story, music, and lyrics by John Guare. The play is set in Queens in 1965 on the day Pope Paul VI visits New York City. The comedy follows Artie, a zookeeper who dreams of making it big in Hollywood as a songwriter. A unique cast of characters follows Artie as he tries to chase his dream. The play ran December 1982. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
