Abstract

Program is for the play by William Ferber. The play follows Russell Thurmond who returns home to find his neighborhood is being threatened by young men in a gang. Russell tries to get his family to move, but his mother is defiant that they should not run from the home they've lived in their whole lives. The play ran October 1983. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
