Abstract

Program is for the musical based on the play Green Grow the Lilacs by Lynn Riggs. Set just after the turn of the 20th Century in Western Indian Territory, the musical follows Laurey Williams, a farm girl who is courted by two rival suitors, cowboy Curly McLain and farmhand Jud Fry. The musical ran March 1969 and the program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
