Program is for the play by Georg Büchner. The play follows Franz Woyzeck, a lonely soldier who is married to Marie and has a child with her out of wedlock. Franz earns extra money by doing menial jobs for the Captain and one of them is allowing the Doctor to perform medical experiments on him. When his wife Marie grows tired of Franz, she sleeps with another man prompting Franz to kill her. The play ran October 1968 and the program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
