Abstract

Program is for the play by Arthur Schnitzler. The play is set in the 1890s in Vienna. It consists of ten interlocking scenes between pairs of lovers. By using characters across all levels of society, the play comments on how sexual contact transgresses class boundaries. The play was directed by Crystal Brian and ran March 2000. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
