Abstract

Program is for the play by Jay Allen and adapted from the novel by Muriel Spark. The play follows Jean Brodie, a charismatic schoolteacher, at a conservative school for girls who teaches unconventional subjects. She hopes her dedication to the teaching profession and her students will keep her in her prime. The play was designed and directed by Jack DeVries and ran December 1977. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
