Abstract

Program is for the play by Kōbō Abe based on a translation by Donald Keene. The drama follows the family of a young man who announces their plan to live in his apartment in an attempt to save him from loneliness. However, the family slowly starts to destroy everything in the name of "brotherly love." The play was directed by Robert M. Treser and ran October 1981. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
