Johnson Family Papers
The Johnson Family Papers consists mainly of correspondence between family members. Printed matter belonging to the family such as receipts, bills and notices is included as well. There are notes and contracts made out during Meeting House meetings as Edmund Johnson participated in the local government. Also included are what seem to be schoolwork assignments, two with indecipherable names signed at the end, and the rest unnamed. There is a commonplace book which includes poems by John Greenleaf Whittier and Edgar Allen Poe.
