Abstract
Tolbert B. Moorhead went to Whittier High School at the same time as the president. He recalled Nixon being interested in debates and drama. Nixon and Moorhead were also members of the Hi-Y Club. The Hi-Y club was a high school club who met at the YMCA in Whittier. Once the president coached him in public speaking.
