Abstract
Helen M. Netzley went to Whittier High School and Whittier College with Nixon. Her parents knew Olive Milhous Marshburn very well. Helen's father was the Dean of Men when Nixon attended Whittier College. She recalled Nixon as intelligent and excelling any many different things. Byron believes Nixon was a sponsor of the idea of permitting dancing on Whittier College's campus.
