Abstract

Fred Lakey was part of the class of 1973. In this interview, Lakey discusses his childhood, his family, and his experience at Whittier College with student interviewer Jai Battle [‘23]. The interview highlights Lakey’s on-campus involvement, dorm experience, and academic accomplishments, including his presidency of the Black Student Union.
