Abstract
This project is a study of Will Power to Youth which acts as a six-week intensive Shakespeare production workshop sponsored by Shakespeare LA and the National Conference, for inner-city adolescents 14-21 years of age. This study was conducted during the Summer 1996 session with the performance location at L.A. Theater Center on Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles. This study included analyzing how the staff was able to help students gain crucial coping skills useful for their lives and for their future. Research included being hired as an intern and working to arrange interviews with applicants but also actively participating with the students.
