Abstract
This project explores concern with racism and prejudice in the United States, and assertions by “portenos”, the people of Buenos Aires. This study is a closer look into prejudice and discrimination in Argentina which includes personal observations of certain cultural minority groups who are objects of prejudiced attitudes and discriminating acts during foreign study. Research includes perceptions and interpretations from observations, conversations and Argentine literature.
