Abstract

This project is a 59 minute long documentary based on Coriann Bright’s self-design major, Religious and Philosophical Perspectives in Film. Wrestling with the Angels overviews Hollywood’s portrayal of the Evangelical tradition and its impact on her own religious journey. This compilation documentary combines religious theologies about faith, specifically covering the dynamics of faith in Evangelism and Hollywood’s treatment of this issue. The documentary includes portions of films and analyzed through a voice-over narrative. This project includes the script, a shooting long, and filmography as well as the video.
