Abstract
This project is a close study of low back pain that women experience during pregnancy or postpartum. This study includes anatomy of the lower back, factors that affect Lumbar Lordosis, and physical and psychological changes during pregnancy. This project also includes an in depth analysis of lower back pain during pregnancy which includes symptoms, types, causes and risk factors. This paper demonstrates how physical therapy treats low back pain during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum and also includes a glossary, pictorial appendix and brochure.
