Abstract
This senior project is an examination of various theme parks and movies that the author analyzes in order to derive inspiration for creating his own theme park attraction. Throughout the paper the author illustrates to the reader, through comparison of popular attractions such as those in Disneyland and Universal Studios, the kind of ride that he has in mind. There is a particular emphasis on aspects such as fantasy, storytelling, as well as accuracy to scientific facts concerning space and our solar system. The project ends with a description of the ride, the technology involved in its creation, its storyline, as well as marketing strategies. This project includes a number of pictures which the author derived inspiration from as well as drawings depicting how the ride would look.
