Abstract
This project’s objective is to demonstrate how public transportation is altering the way Que Delicious, a local restaurant, reaches out to new customers. The effects of public transportation on a business are significant reasons explaining why Que Delicious, a business in East Los Angeles, exists within a particular market that was disrupted by the Metro Gold Line which was built in front of the business. This caused the manager to make adjustments in order to propel the business forward. This study includes observations, surveys and interviews with the manger, employees and customers as support. Research also includes study about the changes of the name and the menu, as well as a separate notebook that includes information, pictures, receipts, journal entries, and surveys from Atlantic Station. In conclusion the Metro gold Line Extension decreased customers for Que Delicious instead of increasing.
