Abstract
This project is divided into 4 parts. The first section introduces Negotiation as a theory as well as the background of its origin before describing what can be considered negotiable. This section also includes time and circumstances, a negotiation table as well as the social, political, and economic conditions surrounding negotiation. Part Two includes the human interactions which surround the role of the Third Party, the good qualities of a negotiator and the overall process. Part Three surrounds the culture of which includes time, intonation, language and translations. The fourth and final sections includes detail of the NATO case in which negotiation happens on a daily basis. Ultimately this paper discusses the importance of the negotiator but that there are several key components that assist as well.
