Abstract
Program is for the epic poem adapted by Sean Morris. The play follows the early events of the 6th century when the poem was presumed to be composed. It tells of the Scandinavian hero Beowulf who gains fame after vanquishing the monster Grendel and Grendel's mother, and of his adventures as an aging king. The play was directed by Jennifer S. Holmes and ran March 2006. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
