Abstract

Program is for the original creation using plays by Henrik Ibsen and August Strindberg. Scenes from several plays were chosen based on their effectiveness as independent moments and their ability to connect meaningfully with other scenes. The focus of the production is on patterns of relationships between men and women. The production was directed by Crystal Brian and ran May 1999. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department. The following plays are included in this program:

  • The Lady from the Sea
  • Hedda Gabler
  • The Master Builder
  • A Doll's House
  • Ghosts
  • Miss Julie
  • The Father
