Abstract
Program is for the play by Patrick Hamilton titled Gas Light. Set in the Victorian era, the play is about a marriage based on deception. Jack Manningham is deliberately driving his wife, Bella, insane to steal from her. He is almost successful when help arrives in the form of detective, Rough, who suspects of Jack’s intentions. The play ran May 1986 and the program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
