Abstract

Program is for the musical by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart with music by Stephen Sondheim. The musical follows Pseudolus, a crafty slave, who tries to help his young master woo the girl next door in exchange for his freedom. The musical included classic elements of farce, such as slamming doors, cases of mistaken identity, and showgirls. The play ran October 1990 and the program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
