Abstract

Program is for the play by Howard Richardson and William Berney. The play tells the haunting tale of a witch-boy named John who falls in love with a mortal girl, Barbara. The story explores themes of love, prejudice, and the struggle between the supernatural and human worlds, as John must navigate the challenges of his forbidden love in a small Appalachian town. The play ran in March 1962. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
