Abstract

Program is for the play by Brian Friel. This production is considered a memory play and it is told from the perspective of the adult narrator, Michael Evans. Set in the fictional Irish village of Ballybeg, seven-year-old Michael recounts one summer he spent experiencing the financial hardships of his mother, Christina, and his four aunts, Kate, Maggie, Agnes, and Rosie. The play was directed by Crystal Brian and ran November 1994. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
