Abstract

Program is for the play by Tennessee Williams based on the author's short story of the same name. The play follows a defrocked priest who seeks shelter at a Mexican inn after being accused of having sexual relations with a teenage girl. The widowed innkeeper and a kindly spinster compete for the priest's attention. The play was directed by Jack DeVries and ran May 1998. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
