Abstract

Program is for the comedy by William Shakespeare. The play follows two romantic pairings that emerge when a group of soldiers arrive in town. Through rumors and gossip, lovers express their feelings for one another while others question the validity of some's maidenhood. This trickery and secrecy form the backbone of the play's comedy and action. The play was directed by Crystal Brian and ran October 1998. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
