Abstract

Program is for the play by William Inge. The play follows the women of a quiet neighborhood as they prepare for the annual Labor Day picnic. This peaceful, feminine environment is disrupted when Hal Carter, a charming young drifter, passes through. The play was designed and directed by Jack DeVries and ran May 1975. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Program.
