Abstract
Program is for the musical by John Waters. The musical follows Tracy Turnblad, a big-haired teenager who dreams of dancing for the local TV dance program, The Corny Collins Show. After learning a few dance moves her dreams come true and she soon finds herself fighting for racial integration on the show. The play was directed and choreographed by Jennifer S. Holmes with musical direction from Stephen Cook and ran March 2014. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
