Abstract

Program is for the play by Caryl Churchill. The play is in two acts with Act I set in British Colonial Africa set in the Victorian era, and Act II set in a part in London in 1980. It parodies the comedy genre and satirizes Victorian society while also showing what could happen when that genre and ideology are loosened. The play was directed by Jennifer S. Holmes and ran November 2002. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
