Abstract
In this letter, Florence thanks Lorena for the gift of a scarf. She talks about the Imperial Poem Contest and the novel she is writing with Mrs. Sugimoto, as well as a new "Vitalight" she has purchased to help manage her anemia. On a similar note, she mentions Japanese scientific research. Finally, she speaks of a woman she's worked with in education and at the Y.W.C.A. This letter also includes a brief note of greeting from Etsuko Okada.
