Abstract
In this letter, Florence re-caps the articles she wrote for Contemporary Japan about a French artist, Paul Jacoulet. Jacoulet introduced Florence to the Persian ambassador to Japan, who has requested Florence's help in translating his rubaiyat poems. Florence explains the rubaiyat style and shares several poems that she has written.
