Abstract
This project is a close analysis of Karl Marx philosophy and provides historical context for its roots and influence. This study includes a brief introduction, a chronology of his works and is split up into two parts. The first section features historical context which includes the influence of Romanticism. The second part is a reflection on the theory of Knowledge which includes Marx’s objective nature and the experience of being in nature, being against nature and the natural being. The next chapter focuses on objective consciousness which in turn focuses on consciousness in being, consciousness against being, and conscious being. The final part of this study are afterthoughts on Marx and the Dialect of Being.
