Abstract
This project is a historical analysis of the Arab-Israeli War of 1967 and the impact it had. This study includes religious history specifically that which pertains to Arab-Israeli Wars of 1948, the War of 1967, and the War of 1973. This project is split into chapters divided by historical time period. The first Chapter is between 1881-1966 which covers the first wave of Jewish immigration, Zionism, Jordan under British control, the Balfour Declaration, and Arab-Israeli conflict. Chapter 2 includes June 5-June 11, 1967 which covers the historical factors which led up to the War of 1967, the context of the war and the outcome. Chapter 3 covers the time frame 1967-1992 which includes the War of Attrition, further Arab-Israeli conflict, Yom Kippur War, and Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Chapter 4 covers the time period from 1993-2000 which covers the Madrid Framework, the Oslo Accords, the Declaration of Principles (DoP), and the Camp David Summit. Chapter 5 covers the years 2000-2003 discussing violence in Israel, the second Intifada, suicide bombings, and Road Map to Peace. The final segment of this project includes a conclusion entailing what the Future might look like.
