Abstract
This project explores how the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has had an impact on women and altered their roles in Israeli society within the women’s peace movement from the late 1960s to the signing of the Oslo Accords in 1993. This study includes a brief overview of the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, followed by a more specific history of the women’s peace movement, and then further develops the concepts of gender and identity within the historical context of the women’s peace movement in Israel.
