Abstract
This project is a research on Ethnic Identity in the city of San Gabriel Valley. It will focus on second-generation Americans and use the impact of sharing the immigrant experience as common ground. How does sharing commonalities such as bilingualism and biculturalism facilitate interaction between these groups and what impact does that have on the formation of their ethnic identities? This project was focused to take place in the San Gabriel Valley because of its rich cultural background and history of Asian Americans and Latinos living together.
