Abstract
This project is an essay that explains alternative conceptions of healing. This study examines two different healing traditions and considers what these two approaches can gain from one another. The Chinese and Native American approaches can borrow techniques from the Western world if funds are available and the Western world could borrow ideas from the Chinese and Native Americans, yet the differences ranging from definitos, ideas and practices are vastly different.
