Abstract
This project details the historical significance of the Saint Sophia Cathedral, immigrant history, church history, U.S. and C.A. history, religion, Orthodox theology, cultural history, art and architecture. This research was compiled from interviews and includes pictures of the church and parish as well as brief history of the Byzantine empire.
