Abstract
This project compares the accessibility of the healthcare systems in Los Angeles and Copenhagen in relation to refugees and asylum seekers; different cultural and legal barriers will be analyzed to understand its impact on utilization. These factors describe the actual health conditions of the studied groups by processing and comparing the collected results. Empirical data, based on interviews and observations, will be supported by governmental legislature and relevant literature.
