Abstract

This study of music marketing illustrates different approaches for various genres and subgenres. This research is tailored to the specific genre of hip-hop but is broken up into two categories: mainstream and underground. This research explores the differences in music, associated cultures and public marketing. This project's research also includes the origin, culture, subculture, developing art form, and viacom rules for Hip Hop.
