Abstract
This project is an essay documenting the author’s inspiration and screenwriting process for their Senior Project as well as a script of the final work titled ‘Once Upon a Time’. The self-reflective essay allows the audience to better comprehend the five crucial elements in the author’s writing process which include: organic free-writing or Script vomit,” script-writing and solo show research, conscious character building, script-writing explosion marathons, and finally redrafting. The screenplay is centered around a character named Evelynn and discusses topics such as loss, pain, murder, and love.
