Abstract
This project provides a literature review of the environment, social equity, and planning theory of East LA which discusses pollution to politics of public transportation. This study then branches off to discuss East Los Angeles and the alternatives and process of deciding on transportation. Further details are provided about public part and designicipation with concerns of the community and their opinions as well as technicalities such as cost and effectiveness. Attached at the rear is an appendix of maps and technical drawings.
