Abstract

Program is for the play by Anton Chekhov. The play follows an elderly professor and his much younger second wife who visit their rural estate that funds their wealthy lifestyle. When the pair announce their plans to sell the estate, family members of the professor's late first wife are thrown into a crisis. The play was directed and designed by Jack DeVries and ran December 1980. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
