Abstract
The program is the play by Jon Jory adapted from the novel by Jane Austen. The play follows Elizabeth Bennet whose last priority is finding a husband but having four sisters and an ardent match-making mother, prove difficult to evade the subject of marriage. When Elizabeth meets the handsome Mr. Darcy, all feelings of attraction are subdued by his pride and her prejudice. The play was directed by Gil Gonzalez and ran October 2008. The program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
