Abstract

Program is for the play by Henrik Ibsen and is translated by Brian Friel. The play follows Hedda, the daughter of a general, who has just returned from her honeymoon with her husband George Tesman, a young academic. Throughout the course of the play it is revealed that she never loved him and married him because she felt her youth had gone. The play was directed by Gil Gonzalez and ran November 2011. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
