Abstract
Program is for the musical by Jonathan Larson. The musical follows a group of impoverished young artists who attempt to make a life in Lower Manhattan’s East Village. Against the urban backdrop of New York City, the characters deal with social dilemmas from the HIV/AIDS crisis to drug addiction. The musical was directed and choreographed by Jennifer S. Holmes with musical direction from Dr. Stephen Cook and ran March 2011. Program was created by the Whittier College Theatre Department.
