Abstract
In this letter, Florence comments on articles that she and Lorena have been reading, asks after the school where Lorena used to teach, and discusses the weather both in Tokyo and California. She makes observations on the birth order of the girls that she teaches and touches briefly on her writing career and a party she recently attended.
