Abstract
In this letter, Florence explains the significance of the Christmas card that she has written on and thanks Lorena for her Christmas gifts. She explains where she and Miss Yoshida live after the loss of their Tokyo home in the WW2 air raids. She describes their acquaintanceship with the president of the College where Florence currently teaches and answers Lorena's questions about what she's currently teaching and what other writing work she is working on. Finally, she reviews her Christmas guests, the weather, and inquires about Japanese students in Whittier.
