Abstract
In this letter, Florence has completed her teaching for the year but is still living on the Tsuda College campus with Miss Yoshida. The two hope to rebuild a home in Aoyama, possibly taking in Florence's sister Lillian and Miss Nishi, and selling their summer homes in Karuizawa. Sachiko is attending a Quaker seminar, and one of Florence's writing partners has passed away.
