Abstract
In this letter, Florence thanks Lorena for the gift of a book, and is writing more book reviews for Contemporary Japan. She makes note that Christmas was a large celebration in Japan this year, and she and Miss Yoshida handed candy out to their private pupils.She speaks about the Japanese zodiac and speaks about her plans for retirement. She closes by sending a book back to Lorena.
