Abstract
In this letter, Miss Yoshida and Lorena both experience high blood pressure. Sachiko was wait-listed for a Fulbright award, and Florence's sister Lillian was hospitalized. Florence reports that their mutual acquaintances, the Nerhoods, have arrived in Tokyo, and that she is writing book reviews for the Contemporary Japan magazine as well as having finished another story.
